August 10, 2022 – Ottawa, Canada: Wise With Data Inc. has appointed Luigi Di Serio as head of Research & Development (R&D). Mr. Di Serio joins WiseWithData (WWD) as a deep expert in analytics, business intelligence, data warehousing and machine learning, having worked with a number of Fortune 500 industrial, financial, and healthcare companies in Canada, UK, and USA. Mr. Di Serio will be a member of WWD’s leadership team reporting to and working closely with CEO, Ian J. Ghent.
Mr. Di Serio combines deep industry experience with outstanding academic credentials, including a Masters in Statistics and multiple technical certifications. For more than 25 years, Mr. Di Serio has applied his technical and data analysis experience to a broad range domains and industries. Through his career, Mr. Di Serio has developed deep technical expertise in legacy SAS based technologies, and started his modernization journey with Python and PySpark in 2019. Through his journey, he’s witnessed the true power, performance, and potential of open analytics, and wants to help others in their modernization journey.
